Humble Bundle Releases A Streaming Software Bundle

that includes things like keys for software that you can use while streaming, games with heavy chat interaction, and even a Monstercat subscription for those looking for some music to play while streaming.

Personally, the

Monstercat license

alone makes this bundle worthwhile. I've been considering using their music but this is probably the push to use it moving forward. If you're not exactly sure what this license is,

Monstercat offers whitelisting

on a per-channel basis. If you post content on both Twitch and YouTube, you'd need a license for each of the channels if you want to use Monstercat regularly. There's more fine print to talk about but if you want high quality electronic music to play on stream for any reason, the Monstercat license is worth considering.

FaceRig

is a bit of software that uses face tracking to map your facial reactions to an avatar that you can use in place of a webcam. One of the handy options is to import the FaceRig shot directly into your broadcast software of choice and set the background to a green screen so you can key out your cat persona. There are a lot of different options so if you want something fun on your stream, this could be a great option. If you make $500 or more with FaceRig, they ask that you upgrade to the Pro version which we'll get to later stop being so impatient.

Quiplash

and

Choice Chamber

are both games that have

direct chat integration

so if have an active community and want something that many people from your chat can participate in all at once, these games could be fun.

If the Monstercat license doesn't justify the entire bundle, I'd say the

XSplit license

does, especially at under $6. Even if you just want to give XSplit a try as a regular OBS user or something, the 3-month window is good amount of time to give it a good try. As I mentioned before, if you already make a significant amount of money streaming and want to use FaceRig, you'll want to get the Pro version which is included in this tier of the bundle at a heavily discounted rate.

BeanBox

offers more chat-related tools like polls, chat games, chat bot functionality, and more. Then

Drawful 2

is another game from the Jackbox folks so you know it's probably great with your chat or just a group of friends. This tier fluctuates but as I've been checking the site over writing this article, it's been around $5 to $6 and obviously well under the next tier.

Admittedly, I know the least about these two bits of software. I looked into

Fastcut

a little because I thought it was an editing program but it seems to mostly be a bit of software to let you use a

GoPro

as a webcam or something like that. Again, I don't know much about it but if that sounds useful, maybe consider that since it's heavily discounted in this tier. Streaming setups are all over the place so it's hard to say if this bundle is a must-buy or anything. If you want FaceRig, this is probably the cheapest way to get it, the 3-months of XSplit is nice, and if you're like me and really like the Monstercat music, this isn't a bad way to get a license. I'd say at least give it a look over because it's not every bundle that's directly targeted towards streamers. But hurry up, as it's
