How to Land Your First Sponsorship

You do not need huge numbers to work with brands — you need the right pitch. A practical playbook for your first paid partnership.

Brands care about engagement and fit more than raw viewership. A 50-viewer stream with an active chat in a niche the brand wants is a better buy than a quiet 500-viewer stream.

Build a one-page media kit#

Your media kit needs four things: who you are, who watches you, your numbers, and three ideas for how you would feature the brand. Ideas are what separate you from the pile — anyone can send a follower count.

Pitch products you already use#

Start with products you already use. Authenticity is the whole product you are selling, and a genuine on-stream mention you can screenshot is the best opening line a cold email can have.

Price your first deal to win it. The first sponsorship is a case study you will use to land the next five at proper rates.
